July

What time is it? What day is it? Sheesh! Pretty soon we're going to be paying more attention to that. Meadowe starts preschool in a few weeks! I'll recap what's been going on since my last post.

But first, can you say "fettuccine alfredo?"

We have played outside so much; the kids just love to be outside running around and that's so fantastic!

We enjoyed visits with family,

visiting the Elkhart County fair,
and the state waterski tournament at our lake,
and now we are enjoying the fruits of my labor in the garden. Yes, green beans, peas, carrots, corn, tomatoes and pretty sunflowers. I've put away many bags of green beans in the freezer, and I'm about to start on the corn.
Finn is speaking in sentences now and between him and Meadowe, Ora and I can't have a normal conversation! When we pray at dinner time, Meadowe and Finn will interject their own thank you's. It's a wonderful blessing to hear them praying along with us. Meadowe loves to draw and often brings me pictures and then places them on the fridge. I am so proud of her artwork. Everything she does, she does it intensely! What energy and determination! And Finn just loves to tease! He's so imaginitive, trying to come up with new ways to have some fun. Lately, his trick is to run off with something that you're using so that you have to chase him through the house. Then he falls down in fits of laughter! We are so blessed!
